About me

Hi, I’m Mathilde Bresson, a French photographer based in Miami since 2023, after spending 10 years in Los Angeles. I frequently travel to LA and New York City for work. I specialize in creating thoughtful, light-driven imagery for contemporary women’s brands.

I grew up in Sanary-sur-Mer, a picturesque village on the French Riviera, and hold a Master’s degree in Negotiation and Client Relations. In 2013, I relocated to Los Angeles with my husband, where our journey began, and I’m now also a proud mother to our daughter, Bianca.

I began my career as an in-house photographer for several fashion companies, where I built a strong foundation in commercial photography and visual storytelling. A few years later, I transitioned into freelance work, which gave me the freedom to collaborate with a wide range of inspiring brands and creatives. Having worked on the inside of brands, I’ve gained a deep understanding of client needs and the importance of truly listening, something that continues to shape how I approach every project.

On set, I like to keep things easygoing and fun. I value a relaxed, collaborative atmosphere.

People often describe my work as feminine, soft, and emotionally resonant, qualities I embrace and intentionally bring into each shoot. I’m especially drawn to natural light, subtle details, and those fleeting in-between moments that make an image feel effortless and intimate.

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with publications like Elle Arabia, Elle Mexico, L’Officiel USA, InStyle Mexico, Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam, Grazia Bulgaria... and have partnered with brands such as True Religion, Leslie Amon, Aldo, Kérastase, Wella, Xirena, Revolve, Velvet, Lulu’s, NYX, Sorel, Saylor NYC, DONNI, and many more.

Every project is an opportunity to tell a story with honesty and beauty, and I’m truly grateful to do what I love, surrounded by people who inspire me.
